All secrets stored in your vault are encrypted in your browser before being sent to the server. The decryption key remains only on your device.
BitLock stores the username, hashed account password, encrypted vault content, and metadata required for organization (type, label, dates, and some URLs). No password hint or email address is requested.
Processing is based on contract performance and legitimate interest for security and maintenance.
The application is hosted on Vercel. Data encrypted in the browser is stored in a Turso database.
Account data is kept in the local database while the account is active.
